Reprints furnished by STOCKS & COMMODITIES are bulk copies (min. qty. 100 copies) of articles or product reviews reprinted exactly as they appeared in the magazine, folded to a magazine-size booklet. Price and delivery are based on the following specifications. Modifications to layout at additional cost.

PAPER STOCK & SIZE:

Paper: 60 lb. gloss for b/w, 70 lb. gloss for color.
Finished reprint booklet is 8 1/2" by 11".
Thicker stock also available at additional cost.

LETTER-SIZE FOLDING

Tri-folding for business envelope (either U-fold or Z-fold) or half-page booklet fold (final folded size will be 8-1/2" x 5-1/2") is available at additional cost. For 1-, 2- or 4-page reprints, add:

USE OF COLOR

If any page or portion of a page in a reprint is printed in either a spot color (two color) or in full color (four-color process), then the reprint will be considered a two-color or four-color reprint, respectively, and the prices listed in the Reprint Price Table for two-color and four-color reprints will apply.

• Two-color reprints are produced with black ink and one standard color: Reflex Blue, Warm Red, PMS 185 (Red), PMS 469 (Brown), Process Cyan, Magenta or Yellow. Other PMS colors can be ordered at additional cost (starting at $35; metallic extra).
• Four-color reprints (full color) are produced with standard four-color process inks only: Yellow, Magenta, Cyan and Black.
• Black & white reprints: Any article appearing in color in the magazine can be converted to a black & white reprint.

SHIPPING

UPS ground shipping is included (street address required). Based on entire order to one customer address only. Each additional drop ship is $5.00.

Overnight shipping or two-day shipping is available at additional cost for any reprint order. Call for prices.

TURNAROUND TIME

Normal turnaround time is approximately 3 to 4 weeks from receipt of payment. (Prepayment is required for reprints.)

Rush service (2 to 3 week turnaround) is available at additional cost. Expedited shipping also available at additional cost.

RELAYOUT OF ARTICLE TO ELIMINATE ADVERTISING SPACES:

Articles and reviews are occasionally wrapped around ads in the magazine. Relayout of articles is available at an additional cost:

• $35 per finished page for black & white reprints
• $75 per finished page for two-color reprints
• $125 per finished page for four-color reprints

Any custom work on a reprint, such as changes or additions to pages different from what appeared in the magazine, will be subject to production time billed at an hourly rate with a $30 minimum.

If you do not wish to have us relayout the article to close up ad spaces that appeared in the magazine, blank spaces will remain where ads originally appeared. Alternatively, you may insert your own advertisement in any available space as follows:

ADVERTISEMENT INSERTIONS

You may insert your own advertisement or company logo in any blank space or page in the reprint. The price for stripping in an advertisement is $7 per layer. (For four-color advertisements, the cost would be $7 x 4 pieces of film=$28.) Camera-ready ad copy/film must be provided as follows:

• For black & white reprints, copy must be provided as a camera-ready mechanical (linotronic, velox or laser print accepted).
• For color reprints, copy must be provided on registered film (right-reading, emulsion down), together with a color proof.

FILM PRICES

$25 per piece. A black & white page is one piece of film; a four-color page uses four pieces of film.

PRODUCTION & TYPESETTING PRICES

Custom production work is billed at a rate of $60/hour with a minimum of $30.
Examples of custom production work include typesetting text, redesigning an article layout, typesetting a custom cover, etc.

COLOR PROOFS

Matchprints cost $100 per page.

FAX PROOFS

One fax proof of the reprint is included in the reprint price. Any additional fax proofs will be charged at the rate of $2 per page.

PAYMENT

All reprint orders must be prepaid. Checks, Visa®, Mastercard®, or American Express® accepted.

MAGAZINE PURCHASES

Authors, advertisers and reprint clients may purchase extra copies of an issue at the prices listed below, plus shipping. Complete magazines must be ordered 50 days prior to cover date. Discount prices are listed below (not including shipping).
